ContraGuitar combines two instruments in one: a full-sized 5-string bass guitar with a scale length of 34” or 86 cm and an electric guitar with a scale length of 25,5” or 65 cm which can be easily transformed into a baritone guitar with a 33’’ scale length.

The secret lies in a unique fretboard layout and in a special tuning system. However, there’s no need to relearn from a regular bass or guitar you are used to play.

The idea of our ContraGuitar is to have bass and guitar always close at hand.
